Can my dog escape?
- All fences in the dog area are 6 foot high and cyclone mesh wire fencing. Each outside dog area is contained by a wire mesh gate which a secure lock. The gates in and out of each area are specifically designed for opening and closing into another outside area which is equally as safe. So, if your dog does manage to get out of one area quickly through an opening or closing gate, it will only find itself within another outside dog area.

Do you provide food?
- Yes. We provide 2 meals a day for dogs boarding with us and you can read about this type of food on the main boarding tab of this website. Of course, you can provide your own food if your dog is on a specially designed diet for medical or weight reasons and this is served to them at your instructions. We also provide yummy and healthy treats for good behaviour.

What happens if my dog gets sick or injured whilst in your care ?
- All Doggy Pause staff are First Aid trained and can administer the right medical treatment for injuries which are not life-threatning. The local vet is 15 minutes up the road and will facilitate any injuries or sickness which we cannot medically treat. Your emergency contact or yourself (if you are available) will be phoned and told as to what is happening and the decision will lie in your hands as to what you want to do. If it is life-threatning we will take veterinary advice and practice in order to save your dog.
